This policy covers the personal scheduling service atcal.haseebarshad.comand this website. Both are operated by Haseeb Arshad as a personal, non-commercial service. There is no company behind them and no other operator has access.
Who this is for
Two groups of people are involved. The operator is the single account owner, who connects his own Google Calendar. Aninvitee is anyone who books a meeting through a public booking page. Different data is held about each.
Google account data
The operator may connect a Google account so the service knows when he is free. Only these scopes are requested:
calendar.readonly— reads busy periods so booking pages do not offer a time that is already taken.calendar.events— creates, updates, and cancels the calendar events for meetings booked through the service.userinfo.profile— identifies which Google account was connected, so the right calendar is used.
Google Calendar data is used only to show availability and to manage events for meetings booked through this service. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train any machine-learning model, and never shared with a third party. Google user data is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide these scheduling features, and its use adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Booking details
When an invitee books a meeting, the service stores the name, email address, chosen time, timezone, and anything typed into the booking form. This is used to create the meeting, send confirmations and reminders, and keep a record of the booking. Confirmation email is sent fromnotifications@haseebarshad.com.
Meeting recordings and notes
Meetings whose location is the self-hosted video service may be joined by an automated note-taker, which records the meeting audio and produces a transcript and summary. When it is present it is visible in the participant list, it posts a notice in the meeting chat, and the disclosure also appears in the event description before anyone joins. Transcription and summarisation run on the operator's own hardware; meeting audio is not sent to any third-party AI service. If you do not consent to being recorded, contact the operator before joining.
AI assistant: calls, website chat and text messages
The phone line +1 516-757-0625 and the chat on this website are answered by an AI assistant. It answers questions about Haseeb's professional background, books meetings, takes messages and, when asked, connects a caller to Haseeb. It always says it is an AI assistant.
Calls and chats are transcribed. The assistant stores the transcript and any details you give, such as your name, company, email address, callback number and message, on the operator's self-hosted infrastructure, and Haseeb receives a summary. To understand and answer you, your speech and text are processed by Google's Gemini API, on the paid tier, where Google does not use the content to improve its products. Calls and text messages are carried by the telephony providers Telnyx and LiveKit.
Text messaging. Mobile information, including phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data and consent, is not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with the providers named above, as needed to deliver and answer the messages. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP; see the Terms for the full messaging terms.
Where data lives
Everything is stored on self-hosted infrastructure operated by Haseeb Arshad, not on a third-party scheduling platform. Access is limited to the operator. Traffic is served over TLS.
Retention and deletion
Booking records, meeting notes, and call, chat and text transcripts are kept only while they remain useful for the working relationship, and are deleted on request. The operator can disconnect the Google account at any time, which removes the stored access and refresh tokens. To request deletion of your booking details or a meeting recording, emailcontact@haseebarshad.comand it will be actioned.
Analytics
This website uses privacy-respecting analytics that count page views without cross-site tracking or advertising profiles. Booking pages are not used to build an advertising profile of anyone.
